Ferg had a successful early show career. He was Best Foal at the Canterbury All Welsh Show, Best Welsh Foal at the Canterbury Breeders Show, Best Foal at the South Island All Welsh Show and Reserve Champion Welsh Foal at the Canterbury Foal Show.
He was sold but then purchased back by the stud as a broken in rising 5 year old. He competed at the 2020 Canterbury Welsh Show for Champion Ridden Section B Welsh, and then at the 2020 South Island All Welsh Show for Champion Inhand Section B Gelding, Grand Champion Gelding and in the Ridden Section was Champion Ridden Section B and took out the overall Supreme Ridden Welsh Exhibit. A very flashy mover like his dam Bendigo Royal Charm, Ferg will be available for sale after the 2020/21 show season.
